Armor & Shields
Encumbrance
- "Unencumbering": Doesn't fill any slots unless an abundance is carried.
- Light: Fills 1/2 of a slot.
- Normal: Fills 1 slot.
- Heavy: Fills 2 slots.
- Awkward: Fills 3 slots.
Armor
Armor decreases the amount of damage the wearer takes from an incoming attack. Armor comes in 4 tiers:
- Tier 1: -d2 damage, 20sd
- Examples: Leather, Padded, Hide, etc.
- Tier 2: -d4 damage, 100sd
- +2DR [AGI] including Dodge
- Examples: Chainmail, Breastplate, Scale, etc.
- Tier 3: -d6 damage, 200sd
- +4DR [AGI], +2DR to Dodge
- Examples: Full Plate, Splint, ect.
- Tier 4: -d8 damage, N/A
- +4DR [AGI], +2DR to Dodge
- -2DR [MGT] and [STA]
- Examples: Teka Armor, Power Armor, Augmented, ect.
Beast Armor
- Tier 1: -d2 damage
- Small Beasts: 25sd
- Medium Beasts: 35sd
- Large Beasts: 65sd
- Huge Beasts: 135sd
- Tier 2: -d4 damage
- Small Beasts: 50sd
- Medium Beasts: 75sd
- Large Beasts: 150sd
- Huge Beasts: 300sd
- Tier 3: -d6 damage
- Small Beasts: 100sd
- Medium Beasts: 150sd
- Large Beasts: 300sd
- Huge Beasts: 600sd
Shields
A shield can be sacrificed to completely negate an incoming attack, dropping it's bonus to Block by 1 until it is destroyed.
- Buckler: -1DR to block, 10sd
- Heater/Round Shield: -2DR to block, 20sd
- Tower: -2DR and advantage to block, +2DR to Dodge
