Creature Stats
Hit Dice (HD)
How many HD to cast to determine the creature's base HP.
Size
Size determines the following:
- Size of the die used to determine HP.
- Roughly the size of the creature in the game world for them to be comfortable.
- The size of the base used for the creature if miniatures are used in play.
- Tiny
- HD:d4
- .5" base size/barely 2.5’x2.5’ of space
- Small
- HD:d6
- 1" base size/barely 5’x5’ of space
- Medium
- HD:d8
- 1" base size/roughly 5’x5’ of space
- Large
- HD:d10
- 2" base size/roughly 10’x10’ of space
- Huge
- HD:d12
- 3" base size/roughly 15’x15’ of space
- Colossal
- HD:d20
- at least 4" base size/at least 20’x20’ of space
- Tiny
Type
Type of creature.
- Can influence certain immunities, resistances, weaknesses, status effects, sorceries/prayers, and augmented items.
Armor (ARM)
Armor worn by the creature.
- Could also be in the form of natural armor.
Attack (ATK)
The creature's various forms of attack.
- Each attack lists its name, damage, and damage type.
- Some attacks may have additional information listed.
- Multiple attacks on one bullet point separated by a comma are a single sequence used that round round.
- Unless otherwise stated, these attacks can be split up to hit multiple targets within range.
- If there are multiple bullet points listed, each with their own attacks, the Fateweaver must choose or randomly determine which bullet point may be used, and only the attacks under that bulletpoint are available to the creature that turn.
Movement (MOVE)
Movement is listed for Battle only.
- To determine Exploration Movement if needed: Battle Movement x 3
- To determine Overworld Movement if needed:
- 1 hex/Overworld Turn for every 20' of Battle Movemnt
Morale (ML)
Morale score used to determine how readily a creature flees during battle.
- Unless otherwise stated, test Morale during the following:
- When creature is at 1/2 HP.
- If 1/2 of creature's party is killed/gives up/runs away.
- If creature's leader is killed/gives up/runs away.
#'s
Number of creatures that could appear during a random encounter at a Point of Interest or the Overworld.
- 1st number indicates number of creatures that could appear during a random encounter at a Point of Interest on the level/section of a dungeon or structure equal to their HD.
- 2nd number indicates how many creatures could be found in a lair located at a Point of Interest or how many creatures are wandering the Overworld during a random encounter.
- Finally, the second number x 5 could indicate how many creatures are found within a lair in the Overworld.
Loot
What loot table to use to determine the random loot a creature either hand on their person or within their vicinity.
- If two values are present:
- 1st is individual loot on each creature.
- 2nd is loot within their lair.
Traits
Various special/unique traits.
