Finishing Up

This is where you do your final calculations and put the finishing touches on your drifter. Some of the calculations below may reference a specific Stat Mod. Compare your Stat to the table below to determine the mod used.

Determine Hit Points

Hit Points (HP): 8 + Kin HD + STA Stat Mod

• Cast your drifter's kin HD, and add their STA Stat Mod to the result to determine maximum HP (minimum 3 HP).

Determine Movement

Battle Movement: 40’ + (AGI Stat mod x 5’)

• If measuring in inches using miniatures: 8” + AGI

Exploration Movement: Battle Movement x 3

Determine Carrying Capacity

Carrying Capacity: 10 + MGT Stat Mod

• Over Encumbered: If a drifter carries more than their Carrying Capacity, Disadvantage on [MGT]/[AGI], and 1/2 movement (rounded down to nearest 5' or 10').
• A drifter cannot carry more than twice their carrying capacity.

Grit Die

All drifters start with a ud8 Grit Die.

• Increase grit die (maximum ud8) by one size for every 1 hour of rest.
• Once the Grit Die is depleted, Disadvantage on all checks until the drifter gets at least 6 hours of rest.

If a Mage or Zealot, Determine Prayer & Sorcery Dice

Prayer Dice (Zealots only): d4 + SPR Stat Mod
Sorcery Dice (Warlock/Witches only): d4 + WIT Stat Mod

Determine Starting Coin

Starting Coin: 3d6 x 10sd

• True Drifters: an additional 6d6 x 10sd

Bonus Starting Experience (XP)

Look through the following list, awarding your drifter the appropriate amount of XP where applicable:

• Stats: You allocated stats in order, and only switched two of them.
  • XP: 150XP
• Kin: You determined your drifter's kin randomly by drawing 2 cards.
  • XP: 150XP
• Age: You determined your drifter's age randomly by drawing 1 card.
  • XP: 150XP
• Trade: You determined your drifter's trade randomly by drawing 3 cards, or opting to become a "True Drifter".
  • XP: 150XP
• Starting Gear: You determined your drifter's starting gear randomly by drawing 4 cards.
  • XP: 150XP for each card

Name Your Drifter

You may name your drifter anything you wish, or use the following tables to determine a fitting name randomly.

Kaletarian Names

These names are given names for Humans and Elphan:

• Draw 1 card.
  • If odd, draw another card and reference the prefix column.
  • If even, draw 2 more cards and reference the prefix column and the suffix column.
  • If a Prefix and Suffix are duplicates, draw a new card for one or the other.
  • Feel free to adjust spelling or grammar as needed.
