Step 3: Stats
There are two different types of Stats: Primary and Secondary.
Primary Stats
Might (MGT): Force of strength, sturdiness.
Will (WIL): Strength of will, personality.
Technique (TECH): Fine motor skill, quickness.
Intellect (INT): Book learning, perception.
Secondary Stats
Focus (FOC): Mental concentration.
Stamina (STA): Physical exertion over time.
Reflex (REF): Response to sudden change
Determining Stats
Using the modifiers determined by your Kin, roll for your Primary and Secondary Stats.

Action Difficulty Rating
How difficult a possible action will be is determined by its Difficulty Ratings (DR).
Each combination of a Primary and Secondary Stat has its own DR for various actions:
Might Focus (MGT+FOC): Escaping from a grapple, picking up a heavy object, busting down a door, breaking out of bindings, etc.
Might Stamina (MGT+STA): Fighting off physical exhaustion, holding something heavy for an extended period of time, traveling long distances, surviving natural healing of illness or poison, resisting the elements, etc.
Might Reflex (MGT+REF): Resting being knocked prone, withstanding fast-acting poison, reacting instantly to catch someone falling, etc.
Will Focus (WIL+FOC): Sorcery checks, displaying good manners, tempting others, threats/intimidation, leadership, performing, etc.
Will Stamina (WIL+STA): Resisting nervousness or stress, concentrating on a sorcery, continuing to act through pain, praying/meditating, staying calm, keeping a polite attitude, maintaining a facade, fighting sleepiness, etc.
Will Reflex (WIL+REF): Sorcery resistance, withstanding fear or shock, resisting intimidation or threats, overcoming temptation, staying calm, etc.
Technique Focus (TECH+FOC): Attacking with a weapon in battle, applying first aid, stealth, picking locks and disarming traps, crafting, riding beasts, steering vehicles, keeping balance, etc.
Technique Stamina (TECH+STA): Crafting an intricate item, traveling over rough terrain, riding a beast for a prolonged time, steering a vehicle for a long time, etc.
Technique Reflex (TECH+REF): Dodging, blocking, jumping, acrobatics, suddenly hiding, catching a falling object, pickpocketing, cheating at games of chance, etc.
Intellect Focus (INT+FOC): Casting sorceries, observation, creature knowledge, general knowledge, finding information in books, appraising items, etc.
Intellect Stamina (INT+STA): Concentrating on a sorcery for a prolonged period, staying alert while being on watch, remaining cautions, etc.
Intellect Reflex (INT+REF): Sensing threats, seeing through lies, finding hints to riddles, etc.
Determining Difficulty Rating
Add together each Primary and Secondary stat, then minus the sum from 20:
